Alterdime 3.0, the third chapter in the flagship series by IEEE Ccomputer Society SBC GEC Barton Hill, marked a significant step forward in making technology more accessible and inspiring for young learners. Held on 16th January 2025 at Government Higher Secondary School, Cotton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram, the edition focused on generating curiosity and confidence in school students through engaging STEM experiences.

At the heart of this edition was Project IGNITE , hosted in collaboration with Women in Computing. This initiative welcomed an energetic cohort of 75 ninth-grade students for an immersive day of discovery, experimentation, and learning. Led by Ms. Abhirami Chandramouli and supported by a team of dedicated IEEE volunteers, the session featured a series of interactive activities aimed at catalyzing critical thinking and fostering a love for STEM. From unlocking the fundamentals of STEM to insightful interactions with experts, participants were given the space to innovate and think out of the box with ease.

Alterdime 3.0 ushered in a new wave of curiosity and confidence among young minds, paving the way for further exploration within STEM. The event stood as a testament to the power of collaboration and mentorship in shaping future innovators and changemakers.
